Q. Is Elder Moves a moving company?

A. We arrange client moves with trusted partners depending on the specific needs. Across town or across country. This includes all aspects of planning, packing as well as the move itself.

Q. How much does Elder Moves charge?

A. Our rates are usually by the hour and are discussed in detail in advance. Our goal is to have no surprises.

Q. Are you affiliated with any specific care providers?

A. No. We believe that each resource has specific attributes for specific clients. We choose to be neutral and therefore objective.

Q. How do you handle “excess personal belongings?”

A. We call it “decluttering.” There are many options ranging from storage to sales of all kinds. We work with our clients to determine which path is best both short term and long term.

Q. When someone chooses to remain in their current residence, how can you help?

A. We can adapt any residence to changing lifestyles. This includes safety considerations, mobility and access, storage modifications and other necessary adaptations.
